I love Ed's. The burgers are fantastic quality, the malts are delicious, it's inexpensive and you get excellent service. The competing chains are poor, overpriced, (and in some cases, underpriced- but you pay for what you get!) and not nearly as nice! 10/10!

I go to ed's diner ever time I visit London - atleast 4 times a year! The atmosphere is always great and the food even better :) I urge you to open a shop in Manchester, theres nothing like that here, I"m sure it'd go down a treat!! Cant wait to get back!!

First time we ate at Ed's was on our honeymoon. Just returned from a trip to London and a visit to Ed's once again. Food is fantastic - the best burgers ever! We'll always make a point of coming to see you (must be Scottish beef by the taste?!) Fantastic! Rod & Yvonne from Aberdeen x

this is by far the best diner outside of the us I have ever been to. and I have been to many :-) I love ed’s!!! I just love it! especially this one! great place, great food, great people and sorry to say that… most importantly… the most amazing and original malt shakes around!!! I would LOOOOOOVE a vanilla malt shake right now!!!
go there, sit down, order anything plus a malt shake and just ENJOY!!! and if its full… wait! go for a quick walk or so… it’s certainly worth the wait!

TIME OUT

This chain of 1950s-style diners - all shiny chrome and determinedly cheerful red and white colour schemes - is where to find fast food done well. Stepping straight out of TV's Happy Days, each branch is more or less the same: bar stools at the counter around the open kitchen, a scattering of booths and tables, mini-jukeboxes playing hits of the 1970's, and a menu devoted almost exclusively to burgers and 'dogs. The formula is solid and succesful, although quality can vary based on how busy the place is. Most of the time, we have good experiences at Ed's. Burgers are reliably fresh and piled high with onions, pickles and lettuce. The fries and onion rings are crisp, and portions are generous. The milkshakes and malts are dangerously delectable and arrive in copious amounts. What's more, the waiters are almost relentlessly perky, despite listening to that old pop music all day long.
